Preston Military Show 2013

Great Family Day Out with the Army in the North West

prestonBilled as the largest military display in the North West, the Preston Military Show involves Servicemen and women, cadets and veterans representing the Royal Navy, the Army and the Royal Air Force from all over the North West: Cheshire, Cumbria, Lancashire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester. In 2010 more than 7,000 spectators attended the show, and this year organisers are hoping for a bigger turn-out, with more members of the Armed Forces community, their families and supporters than ever before.

This year’s show will include a range of youth activities which are open to the public including paint-balling, archery, an aerial rope slide and climbing towers.

Preston Military Show takes place on Saturday 18 June, at Fulwood Barracks, Preston, Lancashire PR2 8AA. Gates open at 12.30pm and admission is free. Final admission is at 5.30pm. For more information visit http://www.facebook.com/prestonmilitaryshow
