Bronze horse statue and plant stolen in Lightwater

Police VestThieves targeted a property in Lightwater in an overnight raid in which a bronze statue of a horse worth thousands of pounds has been stolen.

Offenders managed to get onto land in the Broadway Road area sometime between 6pm on Tuesday, 5 March and 7.30am the following morning. They used a vehicle to drive into the farm yard and made off with the statue, a mini digger and a mini tractor.

The plant is described as a John Deere Gator mini tractor with a green body, yellow seats and a black roll bar hood. The JCB mini digger is yellow and marked in white paint on its arm is 2007 1456HRS.
