200th Anniversary of the Royal School of Military Engineering in Brompton

This year marks the 200th Anniversary of the Royal School of Military Engineering in Brompton. To celebrate, the Royal Engineers Museum will be hosting 12 months of special guest talks about the history of Brompton and the Royal Engineers.

New cases added at the Museum! Go and visit a new display on Life at the School of Military Engineering in the 1800s and Sporting Life in the Royal Engineers!

Learning is at the forefront of the mandate at the Royal Engineers Museum. The Learning Service is specifically designed to support and enhance teaching of the National Curriculum across the board.

Whether you would like to take advantage of one of the pre-made workshops or prefer something more bespoke, the Learning Service is at your disposal.

In honour of the Royal School of Military Engineering turning 200 years old, from September 2011 visits to the Royal Engineers Museum will be FREE to schools! No admission costs, and no extra charges for workshops or tours. Simply book a visit the same way as you always would, but don’t worry about the payment part! All your favorite learning offers, plus many new ones, will be completely free to you and your group.
