Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir – Debut Performance

salsplmwcMilitary wives from the Salisbury Plain Choir are preparing to sing to their husbands. The group of women were inspired to set up the choir following the success of Gareth Malone’s Military Wives Choir, who scooped the Christmas number one in the charts and have raised thousands of pounds for charity.

The choir’s rehearsals attract scores of women each week and they are preparing to sing at a concert on March 15 at the Garrison Church of St George, Bulford, before many of their husbands deploy to Afghanistan in April.

Please come along and show your support for these inspirational ladies.

There will also be performances by Singing For Heroes & Kiwi School Choir.

singin_for_heroes_smlSinging For Heroes aims to unite school children and support the Armed Forces and their families by singing together and raising money for Help for Heroes and other forces charities.

…and there’s more…Pewsey Mens Choir will also be performing.

It is sure to be a very entertaining evening, whilst supporting Help For Heroes; a very worthy charity.
